BARAA AL-HALABI, SINGLE NEWS

Baraa Hajjo Al-Halabi is a 22-year-old photographer. Born and raised in Aleppo, Syria, he started taking pictures during the 2011 peaceful demonstrations across the country. On several occasions, he worked on the live broadcasting program Bambuser via his mobile phone. When the Free Syrian Army entered Aleppo during the 2012 Ramadan, Baraa captured images using a video camera, filming clashes and battles in the area. Baraa started working with Agence France-Presse in January 2014.
