MAURICIO LIMA, NEWS REPORT

Mauricio Lima was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil. As a documentary photographer, Lima has focused his career on long-term projects related to critical social issues and their consequences, in parallel with the daily life in these hostile environments. He is a frequent contributor to The New York Times, among others clients, and has received numerous awards for his work done in Afghanistan, Brazil, Iraq, Libya, Portugal and Ukraine.
