FIPCOM is proud to have candidates from all around the world. Photojournalists from Egypt, Australia, Israel, Japan, Cambodian, Italy, Russia, Canada, France, Spain, Indonesia, Ireland, Cuba, Britain, America, Iran, India already sent us some amazing pictures.
Depicting many of the most important events that happened during year 2013, such as in Egypt, Turkey, Iraq, Peru, Brazil, or the Haiyan Typhoon which devastated Philippines and even the from the Wimbledon final match.
Thanks to the first candidates for their incredible photos, and for the others..

FIPCOM alongside his prestigious partners: AFP, National Geographic, iTélé, Nikon, Les Docks, JCDecaux, and PICTO, invite all photojournalists to sign up and send their pictures on the Fipcom website until 31st 2014.
Just a gentle reminder.
Topics:
News :
Pictures covering (major) news topics and their aftermaths, in such areas as politics, economics, conflict, social tension, relief and reconstruction work, and crime.
Environment :
Pictures documenting issues affecting people’s lives and society today, relating to social, environmental, health, other such areas.
Sport :
Pictures capturing defining moments during major sporting events or top-level contests.
Economy :
Pictures documenting issues affecting people’s lives and society today relating to the economy or economical issues.
Feature :
Series of five pictures about a defined subject. Pictures must be placed in a precise order to make sense.
Prizes and exhibitions :
The FIPCOM competition winner will receive a trophy and a 10 000 euro prize. Additional runners-up – one per topic - will receive a Nikon D800 digital SLR camera. Their work will also be displayed in two exhibitions, one in the heart of Paris, the second in the Emirate of Fujairah.

Goran Tomasevic has been chosen by the Guardian's photo team as their agency photographer of the year. The Reuters's photojournalist is a veteran war photographer, covering conflict for over 20 years in countries including Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Egypt and Syria. He is now based in Nairobi, Kenya. During the year 2013 Goran Tomasevic has mainly covered the conflict in Syria and the Westgate shopping centre attack in Kenya.
